Every walk is tailored to your dog’s needs—whether that means a brisk, energetic outing to burn off energy or a gentle stroll to sniff and explore. Walks are structured, safe, and always focused on your dog’s comfort and happiness. Beyond exercise, each walk is an opportunity for stimulation, bonding, and joy.

There’s no place like home, especially for pets. That’s why we also offer in-home visits, making sure your pets stay happy and stress-free in their familiar environment. From fresh food and water to belly rubs, playtime, and even medication if needed, We’ll handle the details so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands.

Hi, I’m Paul Malyszka, owner of Happy Tails! I believe our pets are part of the family, and they deserve to be treated with the same care, patience, and respect we give the people we love most.
As a devoted pet parent myself, I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your dog. That trust means everything. When I visit your home, I show up on time, fully present, and focused on your pet’s well-being. Every walk, visit, and interaction is handled with steady attention and genuine affection.
My goal is simple but meaningful: to make sure your dog feels safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away. Whether that means a good, energy-burning walk or quiet companionship at home, I adjust to what your pet needs that day. I want every visit to leave tails wagging and owners feeling at ease.
Providing dependable, loving care isn’t just my job. It’s a responsibility I take seriously and a commitment I’m proud to keep.

Geoff considers himself lucky to say he grew up with animals. They offered unconditional love and support in all stages of his life. Their deep influence inspired him to become a certified dog trainer with the Animal Behavior College in 2015. He learned canine training that ranged from basic obedience instruction to positive reinforcement methods that modify behaviors like jumping and excessive barking.
While he enjoys working with dogs of all ages, he is determined to help clear the shelters by adopting senior animals and victims of severe abuse, seeing it as a privilege to help give these precious souls a chance to truly experience love and comfort in their golden years.
He is originally from Connecticut but lived in Asheville, NC for the past 9 years where he explored the Blue Ridge Mountains trails and waterfalls with his dogs, and is excited to find new adventures with more four-legged companions.
"Did you know that there are over 300 words for love in canine?"
